What is Fareham Live?

Fareham Live is the council-owned theatre and entertainment venue in Fareham town centre that replaced Ferneham Hall. According to the council's Fareham Live page, it is operated by Trafalgar Theatres on behalf of Fareham Borough Council. The page describes a main auditorium seating around 800 people with a fly tower, a secondary performance space, a bar and cafe area, a dance studio and space for community groups. The council's September 2024 car park announcement said the venue would open on 1 October 2024.

What is on at Fareham Live this season?

The venue's own website lists a mix of comedy, music, tribute shows and family entertainment. The autumn line-up includes Auld Pals: An Evening With The Stars Of Still Game on Wednesday 7 October 2026 and A Vision Of Elvis on Friday 9 October. Dog Man: The Musical runs from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026, which falls in the October half term, and is based on the book series by Dav Pilkey. Operation MI6 is listed for Sunday 8 November 2026.

For Christmas, the pantomime is Jack and the Beanstalk, with performances from Friday 11 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027. Fareham Live lists Anne Hegerty, known for ITV's The Chase, as the villainous Poison Ivy, with panto dame Josiah Eloi returning. The venue describes it as suitable for everyone from age four to 104. Some of the cast also appear at the town's Christmas lights switch-on on 21 November, which is in our events calendar. Performance times and ticket prices are on each show's booking page, so check there before you plan your visit. Read the full listing on the Jack and the Beanstalk page and see all shows on the Fareham Live website.

How do I book tickets at Fareham Live?

Tickets are sold through Trafalgar Tickets, on the Fareham Live page. The box office number shown there is 0343 310 0022, and the council page gives the venue's email as farehamenquiries@trafalgartheatres.com. The booking page also mentions a membership scheme called Priority Live, which offers early access to tickets, along with gift vouchers, group bookings and venue hire for private and corporate events. Prices vary by show, so check the booking page for the one you want. Availability changes daily, and some shows sell out.

Where do you park for Fareham Live?

The council says three car parks sit directly beside the venue. Its September 2024 announcement says the new surface car park has 136 larger spaces with electric vehicle charging points, that the three car parks together have 26 accessible bays, and that over 600 spaces are within easy walking distance. The council's town centre parking page sets out the charging hours for each car park and says most are free after 6pm. Rules differ by car park and by day, including Sundays and Bank Holidays, so read the signs. Our town centre parking guide goes into more detail, and our train stations guide covers getting to Fareham by rail.

What about access and facilities?

The Trafalgar Tickets page has dedicated sections for how to get there, food and drink, and accessibility information. If you have access needs, ring the box office on 0343 310 0022 before you book so that they can advise on seating and routes.
