Fareham town centre is accessible by car and on foot. Parking is available with several pay options, and the railway station provides a transport link.

Parking Options

Market Quay Surface Car Park

A pay-on-foot surface car park in the town centre. Standard parking charges apply Monday to Saturday.

Disabled Blue Badge Parking

Blue badge holders park for free across town centre spaces.

Station Approach On-Street Parking

On-street parking near Fareham railway station. Payment via card or RingGo app. Charges apply Monday to Saturday 8am–6pm.

Getting There

By Train

Fareham railway station is on West Street, approximately a 15-minute walk to the town centre shopping areas. South Western Railway serves the station.

By Car

The town centre is well-signposted from the A27 and surrounding roads. Sat-nav postcode PO16 7AX reaches the High Street area.

What to Expect

Fareham town centre combines the High Street (pedestrianised) with surrounding shopping streets. Most shops and restaurants are within a 10-minute walk of each other.
